After graduating from San Diego State University in 2018 with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Nico Payne began working for San Diego Gas & Electric as an Electrical Engineer. Having work in different groups at the company, his responsibilities have included day to day operations, power quality system analysis, and regulatory reporting to the State of California.
Shortly after graduating from college, Nico also began working on a new technological start-up venture. Partnering with fellow Cal Lambda Fall '13, Nate McWhorter, they started Lucid Media Group. A digital media frim specializing in website design and marketing services, Lucid Media Group takes an innovative approach to website design and marketing services that most other companies have yet to figure out. This technique has helped transform the company into a growing and profitable operation with a team of designers and salesman. Being able to utilize his management and people skills, Nico thoroughly enjoys his role as the Owner and Director of Client Acquisition at Lucid Media Group.
