I work at West Coast General Group out of Poway, CA who specializes as a General Contractor for civil and building projects. Majority of our work comes from public contracts through various local, state and government agencies. I specialize in all aspects from project planning, creating critical path method schedules, invoicing, budgeting, estimating, reading and interpreting contracts, writing subcontracts and purchase orders, managing trades and staying informed of labor laws and requirements. As with my years in Phi Psi, I always try to learn my industry like the back of my hand and with the years of real work experience, I have gained knowledge of the industry, public works, design, legal responsibilities, insurance requirements and more. The knowledge I have gained also expands beyond my specific every day tasks as I try to put effort to understanding complex systems of all engineering, design and how it operates in San Diego. I maintain positive working relationships with the City of San Diego field engineering and development services, SANDAG and their various design firms on projects, North County Transit District, Metropolitan Transit Systems San Diego, and many smaller agencies in the county.
